We went in for a Nuchal Fold scan at 13 weeks 3 days to see if there were any markers for Downs. Well, little one would not cooperate! When we first saw her (I'm saying "her" until we are proven otherwise), She was standing on her head. I should have known this was going to be interesting...
The Tech tried for an hour and half to get her to move into the position they needed ,and she absolutely refused! They finally gave up and ended the scan saying that everything looked good. However, the best part was when the doctor came in and told us that our little one was a GIRL!!! I believe I mentioned below that I am a worrier, so now it's all I think about. Is it a girl? Was it too early to tell? If it's a boy, this poor story is going to haunt him. See below for the $$$ shot.
Basically, for a little girl, they look for 3 white lines. If you look close, you can see them. Not to mention, there are "no boy parts" in sight. THINK PINK!

Blogging for a Purpose
I wanted to start blogging for 2 reasons. The first reason is most of my family is in the Houston area, and I don't get to see them near as much as I would like. This will be a great way to fill them in on everything that is going on. The second reason is I don't want to forget anything about this special time in our lives (kind of like a public diary)! Hope you enjoy!
