Friday Phone Dump

The floors are FINALLY finished, and we are slowly getting the house back in order.

Presley out to dinner with her Grammie, Poppa, Aunt Brooke, and Uncle Shai while Mommy and Daddy had a date night.

My Mom and I took Presley to the Children's Museum to escape the horrible weather.

Thursday was Crazy hair day at school. Presley was surprisingly cooperative while I put 6 pony tails in her hair.

Friday Phone Dump

The gorgeous Texas sky that greeted us as we were leaving my friends house last Saturday.

Because the floors are being stained and scraped this week, P and I got to spend it in Houston. Presley loves getting to spend time with her cousin Jackson!

Presley also likes to play inside Chaps' cage (my parents dog).

Mimi and I took the kiddos to the zoo, and they had a blast! They saw elephants, danced with Dora, popped out of gopher holes, played at a giant park, and swung on a tire wing.

Mom and I did a little shopping for Harper.

My great Aunt Idamae flew in from Arkansas, so the whole family on my Dad's side got together. Presley enjoyed dinner, but I'm pretty sure she enjoyed her ice-cream more.

 My sister thought it would be fun to see what P looked like in her Jessica Simpson hair. We got a pretty good laugh! Although, I have to say, I definitely prefer my baby blonde.

Wow! We have had quite the week!

Presley always likes to be right in the middle of everything.

It doesn't make any difference what it is.

She will find a way to get herself just where she wants to be, even in a herd of goats...

2 Year Stats

Height: 34.6 inches/ 66% (I could possibly be off on the inches, but I know the percentile is right)

Weight: 25.4lbs/ 33%

The doc says Miss P is long, lean, and perfect. Okay, she didn't say perfect, but I'm sure she was thinking it. Our 2 year visit was the best one yet! Presley got a finger prick and a shot and didn't shed a tear. She didn't even act like she felt anything at all. I was in complete shock. Usually, she is hysterical for about 2 minutes after any vaccine, so I had prepared for the worst. I guess my baby girl really is growing up.

We had a long discussion about potty training and have decided Presley isn't quite ready yet. She shows a definite interest in going on the big girl potty and will go anytime I put her on it. However, being wet and dirty doesn't bother her in the slightest. So that's where we are on that.

Presley also got her very first ear infection right before Christmas. It was a double, of course. Presley can't just do anything normal. I'm beginning to think her theme is "Go big or Go home".  The doc said her ears had cleared up perfectly and everything else looked healthy. I couldn't ask for anything better.

And yes, this is super duper late! Oops!
