Welcome, Spring!
We are very happy to see spring, and the wonderful weather that it will bring. unfortunately, it's only a matter of time before this Texas heat pushes us back indoors. Until then, we are spending as much time outside as possible.
Harper loves to get out in her red car and ride. She throws her hands in the air and giggles the whole time we are walking.
She also likes to walk around it, and open and shut the front compartment. This has been the best investment. Presley loved it when she was little, also.
Oh, hey! Even this homeless lady enjoys getting out and about.
Happy Harper. Outside and loving it.
and what is Presley doing (besides not letting me take her picture)?
Climbing trees. It's her new favorite thing to do.
and running circles around them.
P.S. I let Presley choose her outfits when she doesn't have school. It's always scary exciting getting to see what she chooses.

It's All in the Details
There are just some things that I never want to forget...
like this sweet little mouth
or the way Harper likes to sit with her tiny feet behind her
or Presley's feet hanging out of her princess dress and legs covered in bruises
and squishy baby hands with little dimples in place of knuckles
and rolls upon rolls upon rolls
and that my playroom was always a mess. Oh, wait...
Maybe there are some things worth forgetting.

Harper: 9 Months
9 Month Stats:
Height: 28in (75th percentile)
weight :19.8lbs. (75th percentile)
I'm not even sad about writing this post because Harper is almost 10 months now. All of sudden, 9 months doesn't seem so bad. This has been such a fun month, I love this age! Too bad I can't bottle it up forever.
Here's what Harper has been up to at 9 months:
- Home girl loves to eat. She likes everything, and will try anything. Thanks to her big sister, Harper helps herself to food off the floor. If you ever what to see this little lady book it, just try and take food away from her. She can get some serious speed!
- Takes between 4 and 5 bottles a day, and then eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner with us. She eats what we eat, just smaller bites.
- Loves music. She can shake that booty like nobody's business when music comes on. She also likes to sit on her knee's and bounce up and down.
- Plays lots of games. Every morning when I come into get her she plays peek-a-boo. She also loves to be chased. It's so funny!
- is pretty much my little buddy all day. She follows me around everywhere, and hangs from my legs if I'm still.
- Where's 9, 12, or 12-18 depending on the brand.
- is still in size 3 diapers.
- wears a size 2 shoe, but some are getting hard to squeeze into.
- has 4 teeth on the top and 2 on the bottom. I'm pretty sure I noticed another trying to push through on the bottom.
- sleeps from 7:30pm- 8:00am with 2 naps a day. One in morning around 10am and another around 3pm. Both vary on length, but I almost always get more than an hour out of both.
- Still goes down like a dream. I just have to lay her in he crib. She flips over on her tummy, and is out.
- Will not keep anything on her head. She can rip a headband off faster than I can get it on.
- Since the weather has been amazing, Harper has been outside a lot. She loves it! She especially loves going on walks in our little red push car. That was also a favorite toy of Presley's.
- Is still a Momma's girl. She pretty much wants me as long as she can see me.
- Is also still my smiley little girl. She is almost always happy, and easy going.
- Unless, you need to change her diaper or clothes. She is not a fan.
- As always, looks up to her big sister. Harper thinks she's the coolest.
There you have it. Miss H at 9 months. I can't believe she is already so close to a year. She has been an absolute blessing, and the perfect addition to our family. I don't know what I'd do without my daily dose of sunshine.
Watch me grow in the blink of an eye

Messy Pressy
This girl has earned her nick name. She's a mess, and she'll tell you that too!
No, really. She is the messiest child I've ever seen. She beats out all the boys in the neighborhood.
She loves to play with dirt and rocks.
And has a style all her own.
She is stubborn... and loud.. and rough.. and has a temper to boot.
But this girl can make me laugh like nobody else.
That's my Messy Pressy!

Yee-Haw!
Rodeo season is upon us, y'all!
We put on our cowboy boots, and headed out to the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo.
Harper had on her Chuck's that day, but no worries, she still got a chance to don a pair.
We played lots of games, and rode lots of rides.
Can you see my daughter on the roller coaster with her hands in the air??? She.Has.No.Fear.
We saw baby chicks hatch from their eggs, and rode horses
Except for Harper. She was content just to watch.
Presley even posed for a picture. Of course, the wind blew her hair all over her face right as I was taking it ...
After all that fun, Jackson and Presley opted to hitch a ride in the stroller instead of on a horse.
and some were just plum tuckered out.

Daddy's Home
After a whole week away from Daddy, She could hardly contain herself.
Presley was out the back door as soon as we heard the garage door go up. She was so fast, in fact, that I couldn't even get her in focus.
It sure feels good to all be back together again.
