Project Nursery

Harper's nursery was definitely a bigger project than I intended, and almost everyone in the family had a hand in making my vision a reality.

Here is some of the before:

And now for the after:
I wanted a sweet girly vintage feel with a few modern touches.

I had this sign custom made. My Papa and Mama Jody would always sing this song to us.

We repurposed my grandparents old furniture. This became a much bigger project than I anticipated. However after a lots of sanding, a few coats of white paint, and vintage glass knobs, it was totally worth it!

A close up of the bedding that my super amazing and talented Mother in law sewed for me.

My awesome husband painted the tree on the wall. I was going to buy the decal, but it was $200.

A few of the details around the room.

Rose lamp: Potterybarn Kids
Bedding/fabric: Inspired by LottieDaBaby on Etsy
Pink rug: Potterybarn Kids
Crib: Jenny Lind
Bushel and a peck sign: 13 Pumpkins off of Etsy (I had a vision and she made it happen. I highly recommend them).

Update: I have had lots of inquiries on the paint color. I just had it color matched to the fabric and then reduced to 50%. I took a picture of the top of the paint can, and will post it below.

Love it! It really is so pretty and girly while not being over the top - perfect. I'm thinking about doing blue/green, pink, and white too if we have a little girl. Love the combo!

Would you share the wall color you used? Now that we're definitely having a girl I have to get serious about planning. :-)

Both girls nurseries are absolute perfection. I love love love Harper's though. You should seroiusly submit it to baby room competitions (or whatever those are called!)

Ok, I'm back. :-)

I'm looking for a Jenny Lind-style crib like Harper has, but they are sold out all over. Ahhh! I was hoping you had a secret source you'd be willing to share. ;-)

Thanks for checking out my nursery pics! Love this room. The color on the walls is very similar to [my] Harper's big girl room. Such a pretty girly blue. And I love the "bushel and a peck" sign. My mom sings that to us all the time. Great job!

I love this baby girl's blue nursery! I have a blue room that will be the future nursery in our house. I want to keep it blue for either a boy or a girl. We won't find out what we are having though... that will make it tough to decorate before hand!

Wow! That room is gorgeous. I love the wall color. Finally found my way here via Kelly's Korner. It's fun to see how others do up their nurseries. Great to get ideas for my first little one!

I love the "Bushel and a Peck" sign and looked for 13 pumpkins on Etsy but couldn't find the shop. Do you have any contact information? I am inspired by this nursery and want to build it around that sign or something similar. Thank you so much for sharing your room. It's beautiful.
