My Girls

I just have to share this because I feel so completely blessed. I have become super close with a group of women on babycenter. We found each other because we were all trying to concieve around the same time. The thing is, these aren't just regular woman. They are some of the strongest, coolest, caring people I know.

About 3 of us got pregnant the first month, but that left everyone else. I refused to leave the group until I was able to witness everyone get pregnant. Well, guess what? Everyone that remains in our group has gotten pregnant. We have all had our babies except for one, and she is due the end of this month (Laura)! I can not tell you what an amazing ride we have had together.

We have all been a part of each other's lowest lows and highest highs. We have supported each other during some really hard times:

  • Miscarriages
  • One mama gave birth to twins and raised them on her own for 5 months while her husband was protecting our country (Sandy).
  • The loss of family members
  • Multiple negative pregnancy tests
  • Failed fertility treatments
  • Premature twins (they are healthy and growing great)
  • Rough patches with the husbands
  • Surgeries/gallbladder attacks (sarah20)
We had our second to last baby born this morning (Congrats, Sarah! He is precious) which is what inspired me to share a little about our group. Our group has also had almost all girls ( with the exception of 2 sweet baby boys),  and 2 sets of twins (Shannon, Sandy). Love you ladies!

Since I'm on the subject of supportive woman, all my baby blog Mama's are the BEST. Y'all have been such a wealth of knowledge, understanding and support. I'm so glad we all found each other!

On a completely random note, I received a blog award from Marie over at "The things we Find Inside". Please go check out her blog. It is fantabluous, y'all! My next step is passing on the love, but I'm going to put that in a separate post. My sister is in town and I want to soak up every minute with her until she heads back home (another one of the strongest, smartest, wittiest, most caring women I know).

Awwww.....Ash! You actually made me tear up and one little one found it's way out and climbed down my cheek!! I truly feel blessed to have you ladies! It's absolutely incredible the relationships you are able to form with such fantastic women that you've never even met face to face (although, you and I have crossed paths numerous times). We WILL plan a "mommy's day" very soon, so we can finally put a face to name (and font, LOL). Thank you for this sweet blog and I will always cherish what we have all formed in our year and a half (WOW!!) together!

This is so sweet! I got married in November 2004 & we tried for 2 1/2 years before getting pregnant. I had just started seeing a fertility specialist & then I was pregnant - what a blessing! I had my baby (a boy) on December 21st, so our babies are close in age! What is even greater of a blessing? Finding out my twin sister was pregnant 2 months after me. We got to be pregnant together after trying for so long. We both had boys :)

Hey Ashlie,

It's Moi again! Here is my twin sister's blog. She is going to host a Texas blogger meet-up. I'm not sure where in Texas you live though :P Maybe you can talk to her about it.

I am so super thankful for all my blog moms also :) You guys have helped me through so much, from bad days like Saturday to celebrating each others (and our babies) successes! I'm so glad I met you!

How wonderful that you found such a great group and that everyone was successful in getting pregnant. That's amazing!! I am so thankful for the mom blogs I have found as well as the group of moms in my area that I meet up with sometimes. It's great to have others who know what you're going through!

Your comment on Jack's jacket was too funny!! It cooled off for about a week or 2 and it was awesome! This week it's back in the mid 80's, but still way better than 90 or 100. I hope you all get some cooler weather soon!

Such a great post! We tried for 2 years before getting pregnant with Hadlea. What a blessing you all were to each other! I am sure it was so wonderful to have others to lean on that were going through the same situation! And how perfect that each and every one of you will have your babies soon! What a miracle!

And I just giggled when I got your comment the other night and then you realized you had already thanked me for finding you! It was just so funny! But so glad to know your are 'thankful'! Ha!

Hope things are well! :)
