In the News

Every October our local news station requests fall or Halloween themed photos from viewers. Last year, I sent in one of Presley at the pumpkin patch, and now they use the picture as their daily advertisement for sending in pictures this year. I love seeing her "on the news" everyday. Makes me smile...

I sent in a new one this year, and she was featured yesterday evening.  They even had a whole discussion about her, which made for a really cool surprise birthday present for me. I recorded the segment with my camera phone, and wanted to share. At the end, you can see her picture from last year in the top right corner. She's hard to miss with bright orange feathers in her hair.

Look at what a difference a year makes:

Shameless

Just doing a little shameless bragging on my daughter here...

First, She was bumped up to the older classroom at her Mother's Day Out last Thursday. They told me she was advanced and thought she would do better with the bigger kids. This was either the truth or a really flattering way for her original teachers to get rid of Presley (j/k). Presley has transitioned great, and I LOVE her new teachers!!!

Second, I entered Presley into a photo contest for one of my favorite clothing lines, Persnickety. You just had to email a picture of your child wearing their clothing and the winner would get a free outfit!!! Persnickety is not cheap, so I was super excited. I emailed our amazing photographer, Kelly Wills (Inspired by You Photography) two hours before the deadline, and she sent me over the pics just in time. Then at midnight the next night she texted me to tell me that P's picture was chosen, and I needed to go look immediately on facebook. Then she she said "I feel like you just won a million dollars". The sad thing is I think I was that excited too!

If you haven't heard of Persnickety, you have to go check out their fall clothing line. I could buy Every. Single. Thing (http://persnickety.goodfront.com/).

I'm so proud of my little Sweet P! P also likes to tell me, "I proud of you, Mommy". I guess I tell her that a lot:).
