Friday Phone Dump

Woo hoo! Friday phone dump on a Friday, finally! I updated my phone this morning, and now I can't get my photo's to import into iPhoto, so these are in random order. Also, I have lots of instagram repeats, so sorry to bore all of you who've already seen these.

This Thursday was "Donuts with Dad" at MDO. I had the cutest outfit picked out for her to wear, but she decided that she was going to dress herself. She did a pretty good job if I do say so myself. She also said she wanted her hair done like "Milli Measure". Any Umi Zoomi fans out there???

Sweet girl's first real nap in her crib. I'm trying to get her used to it because I'm THINKING about giving little lady the boot from her rock-n-play. Also, check the bandaids. Poor babe had her 4 month shots, boo!

At Harper Girl's 4 month appointment, we got the go ahead to try rice cereal. I'm not really sure how she felt about it??? She looks a little ambivalent to me.

A little pumpkin painting. I'm pretty sure Presley painted more of herself then the pumpkin though.

Big sis teaching little sis how it's done. Harper ended up painted, as well.

My sous chef helping with banana pancakes.

H is finally big enough for her exersaucer, and she loves it.

Homegirl was seriously fascinated with the bird.

This was my attempt at a nap. Can you tell how it turned out???

Presley's cat ears from last Halloween, hehe!

TUTU CUTE!

Presley's 3rd soccer game was a little bit of an improvement. She did get out on the field and kick the ball. However, she was having way more fun picking flowers during the game.

 and turning cart wheels.

Happy Friday everyone!

Harper: 4 Months

How has it been 4 months already!?! I guess time really does fly when your having fun!

Here are Harper girl's 4 month stats:
Height: 24 3/4'' (95th percentile)
Weight:13lbs. 15oz. (50th percentile)
Head: 41cm (remembered the number, but forgot the percentile)
*I'm almost positive they made a mistake measuring Harper's length, so I'm going to remeasure later today.

Here is what my precious baby girl has been up to:
  • She is such a social baby. She smiles at everyone, and they are huge whole body smiles.
  • Tucks her head into my shoulder when she gets bashful.
  • still likes to scream very loudly. I think she's learning early that she needs to be loud to get attention. Poor second child. However, she doesn't babble and coo near as much as her sister.
  • Wearing 3-6 and some 6 month clothes.
  • In size 2 diapers
  • nursing every 3 hours, but can sometimes go for 4.
  • goes to bed around 10 and wakes up around 6 or 7am. Then goes back to sleep until 10 or so. We did have a few nights where she was waking every few hours, but she's back to her normal sleep patterns now.
  • has to get her nose sucked, and sprayed at least 3X a day. Nose Frida is my best friend! Don't let it scare you. I haven't gotten a single boogy in my mouth yet, lol!
  • Is very content to just lay and play with her toys. We also introduced her exersaucer and she seems to really like that, as well.
  • is pretty much bald on top, and the jury is still out on her hair color.
  • Is sucking super hard on everything she can cram in her mouth. The doc said she's teething which could explain her aggressiveness.
  • She can now reach out and successfully grab (or knock over) objects. This makes eating with her in my lap difficult.
  • LOVES to stand up, and has begun to sit tripod style for a few seconds.
  • and of course, loves loves loves her big sister. They are able to intact a lot more now, and it's so fun to watch!

Oh my sweet Harper Grace, We love you so much! Your sweet gummy grins fill our day with such joy. I can't wait to see what you will be doing at 5 months!

Tuesday Phone Dump (still catching up)

My ex- brother in law plays in a band called The Washer's. He told me he was going to be in town playing, and wanted us to come out. Brandon and I jumped all over that opportunity. I LOVE date nights, especially surprise ones!

Justin and Brandon back stage at the Glass cactus

We drank beer out of this cooler even though we're pretty sure it was for "Two Tons of Steel".

Watching "Two Tons of Steel" from backstage.

My little tight rope walker. Check the jacket. It was cool here for like 3 days. Woo hoo!

Finally getting to celebrate Grammie's birthday. Better late then never. She is such a wonderful Grammie!!!!

My sweet girls snuggling on a lazy Sunday morning.

We were supposed to be shopping for school clothes, but ended up playing dress up instead.

That just about catches me up with my photo's. I've said this before, but the Saga has become a baby book of sorts. I hate to leave anything out!!!

Friday Phone Dump (catch up edition)

I forgot to dump my photo's last week, oops! Here are the rest of the Horseshoe Bay pics and our mini getaway to San Marcos/ San Antonio. Needless to say, it's going to be a big one.

 Kisses for H from Daddy

Multitasking at it's finest, friends. Beer Pong and Daddy duty.

My parents, the Beer Pong CHAMPIONS!

Pie in the face. This is what happens when you're the first to pass out. Kind of a sad waste of pie though.

I found this onesie while shopping in Marble Falls. Very appropriate for my sweet, but rapidly balding little lady.

We got back from Horseshoe bay, only to turn around 4 days later and fly out to San Antonio for the first Texas State home game. This time it was only Brandon and I, so naturally our first stop was adult beverages, ha!

Love this girl so much! Thanks for letting us crash with y'all!

It's very rare to get a picture of the two of us these days.

Tailgating at the Texas State game!

Then it was back home and back to reality after a major loss by the bobcats. I sure did miss my girls!

Here are just a few from around the house.
Baking soda +vinegar+ food coloring = lots of fizzy fun

Sweet Harper completely enamored with Presley.

Helping Mommy with a crockpot creation while P was at MDO.

I'm still a week or so behind, so I'm going to try and get caught up sometime this week. Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Cain Family Pics

While in Horseshoe Bay, we had professional family pictures taken. This was my Mom's Mother's day present from her "kids".  Mom has wanted a good family picture for a really long time, and we have been less than cooperative about taking one. Sorry, Mom! She also refuses to put up a Facebook picture that doesn't have every grandchild in it because she doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Well, we all sucked it up, and had Chasity from Savvy-Images come out to the house. She was super sweet and got the job done. Here are a few of my favs:

This one is probably my favorite because it's so Presley and Jackson. She has to be as close as possible to him, and he really just wants some space. Or wait...maybe thats a man/woman thing???

The grandparents with the grandkids.

Somebody crashed out on us half way through the shoot.

I super duper love this one of my Dad and Harper.

We are all faking it pretty good here. It was hot, and Presley was refusing to cooperate. I thought we all might loose it. Good thing Chasity knows how to get my child to listen.

Do you know how much of a challenge it is to get a two year old and a 3 month old to smile at the same time?!? Yeah, so this is as good as it gets. I'm planning on taking Christmas pictures, but this is my back up pic.
