HSB 2013

Our annual Horseshoe Bay trip has come and gone. In fact, it was almost a month ago. Once again, still making an attempt at a blog catch-up.

The weekend we arrived was my leetle sisters birthday! We celebrated with lots of drinks, 3 pies from the famous Bluebonnet Cafe, and steak prepared by Dad our master chef.

We had lots of boat time. Presley loves the boat and being on and in the water. Harper enjoys the boat, but loathes the life jacket. You would think we were killing her the way she was screaming. She also isn't a huge fan of the pool. We are working on that though.

We were pretty much in the pool any chance we could get. Luck for us,  the weather was perfect the entire time.

We made a return visit to the ExoticResort Zoo in Johnson City, Texas. I wanted to steal all the itty bitty baby goats.

Family Putt Putt was also on the agenda. I'm not sure Presley participated much in the actual game, but she did do lots of cart wheels and flips across the putting green.

We mainly fixed dinner at the house because taking all the kids to dinner isn't always the most fun. There is a restaurant called On The Rocks in HSB and it has an amazing view. We just barley made it in time for sunset. Ryan and Sarah got the best of it in their picture.

And some very lat minute pictures of the cousins...like 5 minutes before we headed out from Horseshoe Bay.

Until next year, HSB!

Harper's Party Day

I can't believe I never blogged about this!!! Anyway, it was an awesome birthday party that transitioned nicely into an adult party. Two parties for the price of one, ha!

I really didn't have a theme for her birthday. I just used the fabric that I had been taking her monthly picture on as inspiration.  Here are the details:

I was a little impatient and took pictures of the table before it was finished, but ya get the idea. It was probably a good thing I did because I didn't really pick up my good camera up much during the party.

My sweet girl loves to eat, but not with her hands. When presented with her cake, she started to cry. So, I grabbed the girl a spoon, and she went to town.

We had a ton of family and friends to celebrate the little miss! I think everyone had a blast, especially my Dad...

Harper got lots of great presents, but I only managed to get pictures of her Minnie 4-wheeler from Aunt Melissa. This girl loves to ride!

Harper,
Mommy apologizes for being so BEHIND on your birthday post.
But better late than never, I suppose. Happy birthday party day, sweet girl.
