Friday Phone Dump

I REALLY hope my next Friday phone dump will include pictures of Miss Harper! Anyway, my wonderful Mom took Presley again for the week so I could get some rest before baby gets here. Luckily, she sends me lots of pictures to keep me updated on all the fun things they are doing.

My wild and crazy driver at Chuck E. Cheese.

Presley with Daddy Bob before Casey's baby shower. Sorry I missed it Casey!

Taking her new baby doll on a walk.

I didn't go completely childless this week. My friend, Shelly, who had her second baby a couple months ago called me to babysit. Unfortunately, it was because her little boy slipped in the tub and needed stitches in his chin. Ahhh, life with two children. I will know all about the chaos soon...

Dont' worry folks, my parents don't completely spoil Presley. She earns her keep around their house.

My Mom took P to get some new cute pumas, and walked out with these Hello Kitty converse. Oh Mimi, looks like you got suckered.

Enjoying the dinosaur exhibit at the zoo.

These two, right here, are T-R-O-U-B-L-E. They went to the Children's museum and did a little face painting.

Kissing Cousins {and yes, this picture will come back to haunt them one day}!

I'm so glad Presley got to have a nice week that was all about her. Things are about to be very different around here...

Almost there...

I can see the finish line!

Today, I am 39 weeks and 2 days. Woo Hoo!

I saw my OB today, and I am 3 centimeters dilated and the baby's head is nice and low. Now, I just sit around and wait some more. The doc seemed pretty sure she would see me this weekend, but you never know.
Here is a quick recap of the past couple of weeks:
Sleep sucks, I've been having Braxton hicks like crazy, no stretch marks YET (i'm still concerned about jinxing myself),  I pee all.the.time., I can not make it through the day without a nap, especially on the days I have bootcamp, I haven't gained any weight this month, I am obsessed with crunching ice and toxic smells (gasoline, spray paint etc.), but overall I feel pretty good all things considered.

Oh my sweet Harper girl,
We are so excited to meet you! I can not wait to see you, touch you, smell you for the first time. Please don't make me wait to much longer.
Love,
Your impatient Momma

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Here is a teeny tiny sneak peak into Harper's nursery. The big reveal is coming soon...
{My incredibly talented husband hand painted the tree (or what you can see of it) for me}

Schools out for Summer

Presley's first year at Mother's Day Out has come to an end. I can not speak highly enough of her school and teachers. Presley loved it, and it was a nice break for Momma, too!

I feel like it was just yesterday I was walking her in for the first time.

and 9 months later...

Please note she is so grown up now, she requires a purse along with her backpack.

{38 weeks} Let's Hear your guesses!

Last week, I sent out a mass email to friends and family asking them to predict when Miss Harper would make her grand entrance. I completely forgot about asking all my blogger friends. If you want to make a guess, we will have a prize for the winner who gets the closest. For those that don't know, my due date is May 28th (just so you have an idea).

Make your Prediction {example}:
Birthday:
Height:
Weight:
Hair color:
Eye color: Obviously they will be blue, but if you want to take a stab at her future eye color you can. I didn't include this in my email, but a lot of people guessed anyway.

Can't wait to hear what you think!

Mother's Day 2012

I can't believe this will be my last Mother's day as a Mommy to 1 kiddo! Crazy! I had a wonderful day with my two favorite people, and got lots of time to relax.

I slept in and woke up to gifts from Presley and Brandon. One of the things I got was new pajama pants. Brandon said he was really tired of seeing me walking around in my other ripped up pair, ha! P was a little confused by the flowers and gifts and kept telling me, "Happy Birthday".

Then he cooked me a breakfast of french toast, bacon, and strawberries. I almost passed out when he said he was making french toast. Brandon does NOT cook, so I was a little scared about the outcome. He told me not to worry because he looked up how to make it online, and could totally handle it. I was still skeptical...

Shame on me for doubting my husband's cooking abilities. His french toast was seriously awesome!

My only request  for the day was a mini photo shoot with my "two" girls. I opted not to do maternity pictures, but would be sad not to have any belly pics with Presley.

I didn't want to torture Presley, so we didn't have any posed pics, and I only had Brandon take about 5. These were the two that came out, but hey, 2 out 5 ain't bad.

Then we did a little shopping (surprise, surprise), took P to the park, made Harper a Build-a-bear (it's actually a pig), had a nice dinner out, and ended the day at the yogurt shop. It was a fabulous Mother's day! The best part was just getting to spend the whole day with Brandon and Presley sans schedules or time constraints.

I would also like to say publicly how amazingly blessed I am to have my Mom and Mother in law. They are the best in the whole world!!! Happy Mother's day, Moms!

and of course, Happy Mother's day to all you awesome Momma's!

Friday Phone Dump

Playing outside in the sprinkler

This is Presley's pouty pants pose. We were trying to get her to model the apron dress Grammie sewed for her. She was NOT in the mood.

This is the life. Soaking my feet in the inflatable pool and getting a pedicure from Presley.

Scootin' around the neighborhood.

Every few minutes she would stop and tell me we needed to think about which way we wanted to go. Then she would make this face...

Big sister Presley, Little sister Harper :)

Presley is one serious taco eater. Our love for Mexican food has definitely been passed along to her.

Getting ready to go down the big slide at Bouncin' Around.
This picture cracks me up. Presley is elated after a successful trip down the big slide, and her poor friend, Hayley, got a mouthful of inflatable bounce house. Can you see her little booty in the air? She was okay, just a little shaken up.

You have probably noticed a drastic decline in Presley's clothes and hairdo's this week. I'm just too tired to mess with it at this point. Once baby gets here it will probably only get worse...
