Helpin a Sista' Out

Today, my sis-n-law, Brittani, surprised me with a new blog header that she designed. She even came up with the super cute saying. I guess after reading the blog post below she figured I could use a little help. Anyway, just wanted to be a little bragadocious ( thank you, Dane Cook, for introducing that word into my vocabulary). She did an awesome job, and now I feel like my blog page is finally complete! Woo Hoo! Did I mention she is super talented? In fact, the entire Souders family has more talent than should be allowed. I really hope Presley inherits some of it because she isn't gettin' anything from me.

Thanks for helping a sista' out, Brittani!

Backgrounds and Such

I realize that I change my blog background as much as I change Miss P's diapers. I just can't seem to find one that I love. This new one is called "Anthropology". Since that is one of my most favorite stores, I took it as a sign. Hopefully, this one will stick. I'm getting as sick of changing them as you are seeing them change (did that make any sense?).

My Little Valentine

Brandon had to work all day on Valentines, so it was just me and Miss Priss all day. Of course, we had to do a quick Valentines photo shoot, and then we pretty much snuggled the rest of the day. As far as my big Valentine goes, we are going to celebrate this Saturday. I can't wait! I really cherish the time that Brandon and I get to spend together, just the two of us. However, we are usually discussing Presley and missing her like crazy, but it's cherished none the less. And what would a blog from me be without leaving you with more pictures?? By the way, my writing has gone completely down hill since having Presley. I'm usually typing frantically ,so I can finish before she wakes up from nap time. My apologies...

Home Sweet Home

Presley and I took our first trip to Houston together this past week. Technically, Miss Priss has been to Houston many times, but this was the first time she was on the outside. Let me tell you, it was a lot harder that way! It took me two days to pack all the things that a baby might require. Anyway, Presley got to meet almost all of my family and even a few of my friends. We aren't going to talk about how she behaved the day my friends came (sorry Megan and Morgan), but she was great the day my family came in. By great, I mean she pretty much slept the entire time.
This trip was also great because my parents and sister pretty much took care of her (and me) the entire time. It was soooooo wonderful! I honestly can not thank them enough for all their help. Of course, the trip was made even better because I got to see my most favorite boy in the entire world.
Just a warning...I have become obsessed with documenting every second of Presley's life (I try not to, but I can't help it), so here are a thousand pics of everyone getting to hold Miss Priss for the first time.

Yes, presley called Mamaw before hand to make sure they were color coordinated.

My brother(in the pic below) got to hold her the day she was born, but they're too cute together not to post another picture.

Are you still there after all the pictures?? If you are, first, thank you and second, here's some more!
Let me preface by saying we were all a little worried about how Jackson might react to Presley. Well, he was soooo sweet with her. He would pat on her and lay his head on her tiny belly (ughh, tear). However, he wanted everything she had. For example, he suddenly wanted to drink out of a bottle and was constantly trying to take her pink passy from her. He would also climb in her lamb seat, use her boppy, and swipe her pink blanket. It was hilarious!

And yes, after almost a week, he finally swiped Presley's passy. He was pretty siked about it.

Just Rockin' with Mimi and Presley

Don't say I didn't warn you... more pics (very random ones I might add).

This one makes me laugh. Not sure if she liked what she saw in the mirror or not?

Daddy Bob and Presley recovering from a long night. I'm pretty sure Daddy Bob's night was a lot more exciting.

She's started smiling and I got the tail end of one on camera!

Presley snuggling with her Mimi.

Pardon her unladylike pose.

It's always so good getting to go back home. Time always seems to go by so fast when I'm there. Can't wait for the next trip home with my little travel buddy.

Let it Snow...

Let it snow, let it snow!

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning and the snow hasn't let up yet. I know lots of people are ready for spring, but I love the cold. I took full advantage of all the snow and had a winter play day. Should I have gotten my 6 week old baby girl out in the snow?? Probably not. However, you can clearly see how much she enjoyed it!
