Project Nursery

Harper's nursery was definitely a bigger project than I intended, and almost everyone in the family had a hand in making my vision a reality.

Here is some of the before:

And now for the after:
I wanted a sweet girly vintage feel with a few modern touches.

I had this sign custom made. My Papa and Mama Jody would always sing this song to us.

We repurposed my grandparents old furniture. This became a much bigger project than I anticipated. However after a lots of sanding, a few coats of white paint, and vintage glass knobs, it was totally worth it!

A close up of the bedding that my super amazing and talented Mother in law sewed for me.

My awesome husband painted the tree on the wall. I was going to buy the decal, but it was $200.

A few of the details around the room.

Rose lamp: Potterybarn Kids
Bedding/fabric: Inspired by LottieDaBaby on Etsy
Pink rug: Potterybarn Kids
Crib: Jenny Lind
Bushel and a peck sign: 13 Pumpkins off of Etsy (I had a vision and she made it happen. I highly recommend them).

Update: I have had lots of inquiries on the paint color. I just had it color matched to the fabric and then reduced to 50%. I took a picture of the top of the paint can, and will post it below.

{So tempted to walk my very pregnant booty back through those doors and stay in bed.}

Friday Phone Dump

I REALLY hope my next Friday phone dump will include pictures of Miss Harper! Anyway, my wonderful Mom took Presley again for the week so I could get some rest before baby gets here. Luckily, she sends me lots of pictures to keep me updated on all the fun things they are doing.

My wild and crazy driver at Chuck E. Cheese.

Presley with Daddy Bob before Casey's baby shower. Sorry I missed it Casey!

Taking her new baby doll on a walk.

I didn't go completely childless this week. My friend, Shelly, who had her second baby a couple months ago called me to babysit. Unfortunately, it was because her little boy slipped in the tub and needed stitches in his chin. Ahhh, life with two children. I will know all about the chaos soon...

Dont' worry folks, my parents don't completely spoil Presley. She earns her keep around their house.

My Mom took P to get some new cute pumas, and walked out with these Hello Kitty converse. Oh Mimi, looks like you got suckered.

Enjoying the dinosaur exhibit at the zoo.

These two, right here, are T-R-O-U-B-L-E. They went to the Children's museum and did a little face painting.

Kissing Cousins {and yes, this picture will come back to haunt them one day}!

I'm so glad Presley got to have a nice week that was all about her. Things are about to be very different around here...
